StaleBacon is a Web Comic written by Kevin Coulston & Dustin Karnes.

Kevin and Dustin met in high school back in 2001 in a crappy little town somewhere in Arizona. Having been good friends through 4 fun years of blowing trombones and banging drums in the marching band, the two went their separate ways after high school… and forgot to stay in touch. For 5 years.

Fast forward to 2009. Kevin, despite having moved away, somehow ended up back in that crappy little town somewhere in Arizona, now a professional Website Developer and pinata enthusiast (made that last part up) Lives with his girlfriend of 4 years and has a weird little dog properly named “Dookie”.

Dustin moved away.. never to return. He became a family man. Now married and with a daughter (which is highly ironic considering he still dabbles in lego architecture). He is now the Senior System Engineer for a tech company in Texas, and uses words and phrases like “unix”, “MySQL” and “What the hell, this was working 10 minutes ago” on a regular basis. Insert Twitter, and the two found each other once more.

Then, that fateful day…
“Hey, wanna make a webcomic?”
“Sure.”
…KABOOM!!
StaleBacon was born!
